Getting a healthy dose of energy can make you feel better today and over time. My friend likes a good cup of coffee, and while it’s great to have some caffeine, there are some really amazing foods and teas out there that help you with nutrients. I’ve found that they pick me up and maintain my energy levels even on days when I feel the laziest. I think the best part is that there isn’t a crashing sensation when you eat naturally energizing ingredients.
For me, raw nuts are some of the best ways to increase energy. Almonds, hazelnuts and cashews are particular favorites. They contain magnesium, which provides energy from converted sugar in the bloodstream.
Seeds are another great way to bring up my energy. Pumpkin seeds are always delicious, and they contain protein, B vitamins, iron, magnesium and Omega-3 fatty acids. It’s an instant boost, and you can roast your own seeds and nuts together for a great trail mix.
Certain teas are really wonderful for energizing the body. They contain antioxidants and even caffeine, but they don’t have the same crashing sensation as coffee. Some teas even help with immune systems.
Keeping my energy up is important because I always feel like I have one more thing to do or one more person to visit. It’s always nice to bring along some tea to help keep my energy level up.
